A while back I read that the default font size for Adsense units would be increasing. Apparently Google had been testing larger font sized units, and they found that the new larger font units were performing much better.
Today when I signed in to check my Adsense earnings for the day, I found one of my Adsense articles on how to make quick money (above) was performing much better than normal. So my first impression of the performance of the new units is that they are fantastic. Time will tell how much better they are, but so far, so good. It is also possible that the ads will be more effective for a while, but then fall back down to what they were before, once factors relating to ad blindness kick in.
The Link units
The font size of the link units remains the same as before, so these units should look the same as before. See below:

I recently made over $200 more than I ever have with adsense since the font size increased. I love it!
